We initially contacted JMA productions to discuss using their DJ service at a Disco that we were holding in our school hall to raise funds for our World Challenge Expedition to Peru. Not only were we surprised at how accommodating Jay was, we were also astounded by the speed of his reply and the generosity of his offer to us; the purpose of our expedition is to help at an orphanage in Peru, and because of this he contributed his, and his team’s services for free, with us covering travelling expenses. Jay kept in full contact in the month and a half up to the event, constantly offering advice and opinions, and always pushing us forward, and for this alone we are very grateful. The weeks rushed by and eventually the night was upon us. Jay and his team arrived in plenty of time and set up and the lighting equipment he supplied was more than sufficient to fill the large hall with a very disco-y atmosphere. When the actual disco began the team and I were literally blown away with the quality of service jay provided. The DJ-ing was of a superb standard, the music choices were excellent, as were the effects. Jay got the whole room animated and I have absolutely no doubt that it was JMA productions that made the whole evening such a success. I would not hesitate to book Jay again, and pay for his services - he would be worth every penny, and will undoubtedly make anyone’s event an entertaining success!

JMA Productions - Where do I start................at the beginning

Form 6 Leaver Party - all parents want their kids party to be the best, the mums and dads of Branwood Preparatory School are no different!

After much deliberation a committee was formed to share our ideas and resources.

It was apparent after 2 meeting's that we did not have any connections or recommendations in the world of DJ's and Disco's. Having been one of the lucky ones? selected to secure the disco for the forthcoming event I set to my task. As all other avenues had been exhausted the internet would be my first port of call.

A quick search engine reference gave me the Disco listing I was looking for - I made 2 phone calls - this is where the comparison ends - the first chap was tiling a bathroom and would phone his daughter to check his diary

- the second chap was Jay from JMA Productions - seconds into our conversation the professionalism and the promotion of his company made an immediate impression on me. (Am i glad the first chap's daughter didn't get out of her bed to answer the phone for a while!)

By the time he got back to me JMA confirmed availability for our event and a provisional booking was made.

As we were a last minute booking (3 weeks to go and approaching panic mode) arrangement's were made swiftly, monies paid and with a quick scan of the web testimonial's I felt in safe hands.

What makes your Leavers Party the best you could have? All plans falling into place and the people that you entrust with a vital part to play - turn up and deliver!

WELL - did JMA deliver? - they were Fantastic.

We didn't just get a Disco - this was an Extravaganza of Musical Entertainment and in the words of Miss Jean Broadie -La Creme De La Creme

Not only was there musical entertainment from JMA but you provided a stilt walker who greeted the children from their limo outing - just watching the delight and laughter on their faces made it all worth while.

The evening went in so quick - it always does when people are enjoying themselves............from the 80's music for the mums and dads, kids dancing in unison to the locomotion along with all the other popular mass participation pop dances! A fabulous opportunity for the kids to recreate their school show - Grease on the Karaoke - along with some of the mum's and dads who just can't resist the call of the microphone after a couple of lemonades!

To bring the night to a close Jay valiantly took it upon himself to get some order from the 24 kids discussing their acappella finale - well done that man..........and as a result there wasn't a dry eye in the house.

JMA made our Form 6 Leavers Party - one they will remember for the rest of their lives!

The kids will all go their separate ways now - but I will put money on it over the next few years Jay and his team will be inundated with request's for the best disco in town!

First of all we were incredibly impressed with the personal service that you provided to us - there was no hesitation in coming to visit us at our home in Leeds, even though you were in Manchester. Several other companies that we contacted just wanted to deal over the phone. It made us feel more involved with the whole experience. Also by running through each song that we could expect to hear at our wedding was great - you always kept us informed and provided all the details we could possibly want, making it much less stressful than it could have been!

On the day itself, you tailored it to exactly what we wanted rather than it being about the DJ. Coming on after the ceilidh was a tough act to follow, but starting with 'I want you back' was a stroke of genius and had everyone on the dance floor. I don't think the floor emptied once, and to finish with the perfect slow songs ('I can't last a day without you' and 'The first time ever I saw your face') brought an amazing evening to a perfect end.

We're so happy with the professional and personal service that you provided to us, and would have no hesitation in recommending you to anyone.

I had a wonderful party and you were a big part of that. Many of my friends have commented on how good you were. We really appreciated the way you helped the night go. The choice of music was excellent and you really understood what my friends and I wanted. Your meticulous preparation attention to detail meant that we could relax and let you get on with it. I think what we liked most was that you took the trouble to speak to me at some length to make sure you were playing the right kind of music, and then were not intrusive as some DJs are.
