What kind of music will be played

 

Answer

With jmaProductions you are in control of the music with our Made To Measure Playlist. Just tell us the music you want us to play and the music you don't want us to play before your event

Will you have the music I want

 

Answer

By telling us what music you want, we will make sure that we have it for your event

What will the DJ be wearing

 

Answer

All our staff and DJs have a uniform and will be suited for weddings or by request.

 

 

4.

How much should I spend on a DJ

 

Answer

All DJs are different and will be charging different rates. It's not always the best idea to go for the cheapest DJ you can find. Just remember that the more a DJ charges you, make sure your getting what you are paying for like the services they include

 

 

5.

Is your equipment PAT tested?

 

Answer

All of our equipment we use is Portable Appliance Tested (PAT)

We also carry comprehensive Public Liability Insurance (PLI) Coverage. Provided by AIG, our cover is up to the value of £10 Million.

 

6.

How do we confirm our booking with you

 

Answer

We will send you two copies of your booking, in addition with your copy of your contract. We would then ask you to sign and return one of the copies with your deposit. The other copy is purely for your records.

 

 

7.

Will my DJ be reliable

 

Answer

We contract all our clients for peace of mind, this means that when you have booked us, you have booked us for that date!

 

 

8.

What is my DJ like

 

Answer

When you have booked a DJ for a wedding, your DJ will meet up with you over coffee and go through your playlist, any requests and answer any questions you might have for your event. For other events you can request to see the DJ before hand, he will be more than happy to meet you

What equipment do you use

10.

Will the DJ talk on the Microphone

 

Answer

If you want the DJ to talk on the Mic, they will talk, if you don't want the DJ to talk, they will not.

 

 

11.

How long does the DJ need to set up

 

Answer

We like to say at least 1 hour

 

 

12.

Do you provide smoke machines

 

Answer

Yes we do. They are inclusive to all our packages. However if you have anyone who is concerned about the smoke machines i.e. asthma or other related health issues please notify us. The liquid which is used in our smoke machines is professional theatre smoke fluid and is non-toxic to health.

 

 

13.

Do you use strobe lighting

 

Answer

Our lighting rigs are controlled by what is know as DMX. This allows us to control the patterns and sequences the lights produce. If you're aware of someone that has i.e. epilepsy, please notify us. By law & Health and Safety standards, venues that have lighting setups can only use their strobe lighting to a maximum of 20 seconds per sequence.

 

 

14.

What would happen in an emergency if you could not attend

 

Answer

We are proud members of the National Association of Disc Jockeys (NADJ), UK-Disco & The Mobile Disco Directory (MDD). In the very unlikely event of us not being able to attend, we have in place contingency plans, with professional and reputable companies. However, we stress that this is a highly unlikely and rare situation.
